I am ridiculously excited that it is October. I love fall! (But I absolutely detest winter, so every time one of those gorgeous red-orange leaves falls, I get a little sad knowing the cold is on its way!)
This block for Amanda took about thirty seconds to make. Okay, perhaps that's a bit of exaggeration. But it was a fast block, and I like the way it turned out.
Amanda asked us about how we started quilting, and my answer is an easy one. I have always wanted to quilt, but was too scared to take the plunge. (No one else in my family quilts.) I met my friend K, and she graciously taught me the ropes. I've been quilting for four years now! And I still have a serious love affair with it.
